Aspire To Greater Heights - Million Dollar Australia - Do Good, Feel Good, Gain Wealth | |
Aspiring to help others Alun Watkins, is an entrepreneur and philanthropist, an adventurer, an author, an artist, a surf lifesaver on Bondi Beach and is regarded as one of the original computer wiz kids, way back! He helped to pioneer the Internet. Now "retired" young, he still manages a number of charitable websites free and helps people build successful businesses. His passion is health and fitness and anti-ageing. Alun Watkins racing his eco-friendly Ferrari at Silverstone. In 1990, Oracle laid off 10% (about 400 people) of its work force because it was losing money. This crisis almost resulted in Oracle's bankruptcy. That same year Alun Watkins started development of software which, in partnership with Oracle, was marketed to Oil Companies and also bought by the US Department of Defence. For a short period in 2000, Ellison was the richest man in the world. In 2001 Watkins ended his business partnership with Oracle. Watkins' friend, Cedo, was diagnosed with a brain tumor so Watkins returned to Australia to help him during his final months. Cedo was a man who worked selflessly. In 1980, Watkins arrived in Australia and started a running group which eventually become the most successful Triathlon Club in Australia. Watkins attributes it's success to Cedo. Following his friend's death Watkins started an anti-ageing business to help people avoid age related degenerative diseases and live fit and healthy lives into old age. He pledged half the profits to charity but has been donating 100 percent since its start-up. Check out his business ventures and see how they can benefit you - whether it's to save money, look better, feel better or work in his business part time or full time and earn some extra cash. Alun is a product of his philosophy. In October 2008, he won an annual 5K run at a US event attended by 1000s of super fit and healthy looking people. Lining up on the start line next to many International runners half his age, he knew he had to draw on a lot of inner strength! Alun donated the $500 winner's cheque to a charity that provides meals to feed starving children. And he personally topped it up to $1000 to feed an extra 30 starving children for the month of December on top of his usual monthly donation. In October 2012, he was the overall winner of the 5K run when he attended the Anti-Ageing event a second time. He attributes his youth and vitality to amazing natural health supplements developed with the help of the World's leading anti-ageing scientists. He says, "I want to give what I can and grow what I can give in the future. Obviously, our own families and friends come first but we should consider whatever else we feel we can afford to help worthy causes. We can all play a part in helping achieve World Harmony and making the World a better place for everyone." |
